New Vaccination Schedule for Canine Parvovirus Infection

Abstract

A six month old male Labrador puppy was presented to MVCTH with the history of foulsmelling hemorrhagic diarrhoea, vomiting and inappetence for the past two days. History revealed that the pup was vaccinated against DHPPi+L. The dog was conrmed by PCR for CPV2 infection. The animal was treated twice daily for seven days with supportive therapy and animal recovered on the 8th day of treatment.
