Gastric Myiasis by Oestrus Ovis Larvae in a Sirohi Goat: A Case Report

Abstract

A post mortem case of 3.5-year-old female Sirohi goat was presented with a history of anorexia, weight loss, in-coordinated movements, and nasal discharge. The post mortem was conducted and the larvae were discovered in the stomach region. Morphological identification revealed it as larvae of O. ovis (nasal bots).
