Retrieval of Metallic Needle from Neck in a Kangayam Cattle

Abstract

A Kangayam cattle was presented with history of anorexia for two days. On clinical examination pointed end of foreign body was palpable at right lateral aspect of neck. Linear metallic foreign body was removed manually. The cattle was administered with streptopencillin and unixin meglumine for three days and the animal had uneventful recovery.
