Abstract

Milk is a complete food, as it contains essential nutrients. India is a global leader in milk production as well as consumption. In this modern world, various types of research have been carried out on the role of milk in human nutrition and health. However, the reported research findings about the adverse effect of milk protein present in A1 milk leading to Type-1 diabetes mellitus, coronary heart disease (CHD), autism etc. and the beneficial effect of A2 milk protein on human health have attracted global interest, though these results were debatable and unclear.
