Abstract
The study reports cases of concomitant occurrence of avian pox infection with visceral and articular form of gout in three one year old pigeons. Necropsy revealed visceral and articular gout coupled with pigeon pox, which was in concurrence with the histopathological examination. The cause of gout in the present case could be nephropathy which could in turn be associated to the protein deficiency which occurred as a consequence of diphtheritic form of avian pox affecting upper digestive tract
