Abstract

We sought to investigate the effect of extracts of the clove plant, on the viability of the protoscolices of Echinococcus granulosus of sheep origin in vitro at different concentrations and time exposure intervals. As the current results show that the gradual increase in the concentration of the plant extract with a constant exposure time leads to a gradual decrease in the viability of the primary heads. When the exposure time to the plant extract is increased and the concentration of the extract is proven, it also leads to a decrease in the viability of protoscolices.
