Effect of Rice Polish on the Production Performance of Commercial Broiler Chicken

Abstract

A study was undertaken in broiler chicken to evaluate the production performance of rice polish at graded levels replacing maize in broiler chicken diets. Three hundred commercial sexed, one day-old, broiler chicks were randomly allotted into six treatments with five replicates containing ten chicks per replicate. The results of the experiment revealed that fifth week body weight and body weight gain of T1, T2 and T was significantly (P<0.01) higher than T4, T. The cumulative feed intake and feed conversion ratio were found to be non significant
