Ofine Mobile App for Veterinary Professional

Abstract

Applications (apps) are software’s specically designed for mobile devices. This paper reports the results of a survey about app use by the Veterinarians. The questionnaire had 50 respondents initially to understand the expectations of the app for Veterinary community. With this feedback,a mobile app was developed by the authors and the same was circulated for the respondents of the initial survey. After 1 month of usage of the veterinary app, 34 out of 50 respondents have given positive feedback on the reasons that the app to be benecial for them. Despite digital literacy, the present paper indicates that there is a huge potential for adoption of the mobile apps by the Veterinary professionals.
