Concurrent Occurrence of Congenital Hypospadias and Atresia Ani in a Male Calf

Abstract

The current communication describes concurrent occurrence of hypospadias and atresia ani in a 2-day old male calf. Physical examination revealed absence of anal opening, presence of bifid scrotum, incompletely formed preputial sheath, penile aplasia and presence of urethral opening within a skin in the ventral abdomen. The two congenital abnormalities were surgically corrected.
