Abstract
Cranioschisis with meningocele is a rare congenital deformity occurring in pigs. A newborn Large White Yorkshire male piglet was presented in a recumbent condition with uctuating swelling in the forehead region. Upon examination the swelling was found to be herniation of meninges with cerebrospinal uid which escaped through the cranioschisis in the frontal bone of the skull
