Abstract

An experiment was conducted on eighteen (18) growing goats (4-6 months) with uniform body weight and similar sex ratios were randomly divided into three experimental groups (T0, T1, and T2) with six kids each. The concentrate mixture containing cottonseed cake was fed to control group (T0). In treatment groups T1 and T2, the cottonseed cake was replaced by wet distillers grains with solubles (WDGS) at 50% and 100%, respectively for 90 days. The blood samples were collected on 0, 30th, 60th, 90thday of trial period. The values of blood glucose, serum total protein, serum albumin, serum globulin did not differ signi cantly between treatment groups. But the blood urea nitrogen (BUN) was found signi cantly (P<0.05) higher in WDGS incorporated groups at 50 and 100% levels.
