Abstract

On the post mortem examination of the carcass of the free ranging python (Python morulus) at the Department of Veterinary Pathology, College of Veterinary and Animal sciences, Mannuthy, tape worms were collected from the stomach. The morphologic features of the worm and egg allowed to conclude that the tape worm was Bothridium pithonis
