Characterization and Identi cation of Aeromonas salmonicida sub sp. salmonicida Isolated from Fresh Water Fish Clarias batrachus

Abstract

Aeromonas salmonicida subsp. salmonicida is an important pathogen in cat sh aquaculture and is responsible for the typical furunculosis. Total of 20 bacterial isolater from the cat  sh samples collected from  ve districts of East Java were biochemically and phenotypically characterized. Five out of 20 isolates were identi ed as A. salmonicida subsp. Salmonicida. This research also found phenotypic character diversity of isolate A. salmonicida subsp salmonicida with 75% - 96% of similarities
