Abstract
Aeromonas salmonicida subsp. salmonicida is an important pathogen in cat sh aquaculture and is responsible for the typical furunculosis. Total of 20 bacterial isolater from the cat sh samples collected from ve districts of East Java were biochemically and phenotypically characterized. Five out of 20 isolates were identi ed as A. salmonicida subsp. Salmonicida. This research also found phenotypic character diversity of isolate A. salmonicida subsp salmonicida with 75% - 96% of similarities
