Abstract

Fatty liver haemorrhagic syndrome (FLHS) observed incidentally on necropsy of various poultry species over a period of seven years are reported here. Gross pathological changes mainly limited to liver were multiple haematomas and varying stages of hepatic lipidosis were observed. Seasonal variations found to have negligible effect on the occurrence of the condition. A progressive occurrence of Fatty liver haemorrhagic syndrome (FLHS) was noted as age advanced.
