Toxoplasmosis Occurrence in Stray Cat Frombanyuwangi City, Indonesia

Abstract

Stray cats are denitive host of Toxoplasma gondii and transmit toxoplasmosis disease among animals and human. The number of stray cats used in this study was 70 which were collected from the northern, southern, central, eastern and western areas to represent Banyuwangi City. The results showed that the percentage of toxoplasmosis prevalence was 37.15%.
