Haemorrhagic Colitis Due to Buxtonella Sulcata and E.Coli in a Cross Bred Cow

Abstract

A two years old Jersey calf cross bred cow was presented with the signs of haemorrhagic diarrhoea with offensive odour and dehydration. Faecal examination revealed concurrent infection of intestinal ciliate protozoa Buxtonella sulcata and E.coli. The case was successfully treated with oxytetracycline along with supportive therapy
