Planting Distance Effectivity on Sargassum sp. Seaweed Growth Using Raft Bottom off Method

Abstract
This study aimed to observe whether planting distance affected Sargassum sp. seaweed growth performance using bottom off line method. The result showed that each planting distance treatment in uenced signi cantly against Sargassum sp. growth performance. The lowest absolute growth was observed at 20cm treatment with 34.33g, while the highest was found at 40cm treatmet with 44.50g. The highest speci c growth rate was observed at 50 cm planting distance with 8.76%, while the lowest was found at 30cm planting distance treatment with 2.93%.
