Abstract
This clinical report describes successful surgical management of unilateral gravid ventral hysterocele in an eight-year-old non-descript female goat. Clinical and ultrasonographic examinations confirmed the diagnosis. Caesarean section was done to deliver two live fetuses; the fetus in the herniated uterine horn was deformed while other was normal. The massive hernial ring, extending from about 5cm caudal to the xiphoid to cranial margin of the udder in the inguinal region was suturedusing polyglactin 910, no.2.
